Friday News from Marksville

I am a bit late in getting up my post for the day to our busy day, even though I did get to comment a few times earlier this afternoon. We started off the day picking up the fitted knee brace for Dennis which didn't take nearly as long as we thought so we stopped and had a Egg Mc Muffin before heading to the Dentist. Dennis had his x-rays, and cleaning today.

While there it seemed like we knew everyone who was getting work on their teeth. What a small world, and of course the information you get that confirms just how crazy a certain someone is. We will just keep praying that this person sees the err of their ways before it is too late. I was also able to talk to another friend while her daughter and Dennis were getting their teeth worked on. It was nice to talk about the kids and life.

Soon enough her daughter was done and they were on their way. With no one else left in the waiting room I continued to read one of the currant books I have going. Not long into my reading Dennis was ready to go after paying for his appointment and making his next appointment.

We made a pitstop at a freinds house of Dennis. He had told Dennis he had a lot of return bottles that needed to be returned and that the usual person hadn't picked them up so we were more then welcome to have them. We had no idea it would fill the van we had to put the seats down to fit them all. On the way to the store we talked about a few new places to eat we would like to try the next few times we go out for our date night.

When we first got to the store all of the machines were out of order but soon enough they had them up and going, and after every can except 6 that we split between the two ladies returning all of their cans, we netted about 40.00. We made a quick run through Walmart for a few things, before stopping off at the gas station.

We then had a bite to eat at the Plaza for lunch. We chatted through lunch and soon enough we were boxing up our leftovers. I made a quick stop at the grocery store to pick up peaches, raisin bran, ketchup, and zip bags that were on sale. I was out in record time and we were on our way home. Dennis stopped to get me a Coolatta which is still down in the freezer waiting for me, as well as the other half of my lunch.

Once home I put away the things we bought while Dennis headed up to bed. He comes home tomorrow gets about 6 hours of sleep and then goes back for a double. Even Samantha got a bit of overtime tomorrow. I hope to take her to the banks tomorrow to close out her youth account and open up a new account before they close. Then I have to  get my papers, and a sub for Dennis.

The kids showed me all of the things they made in school this week which I will post I hope tomorrow. I am so glad they are having a good time. Two more weeks and then they have the rest of the summer to hang out.

For dinner we had pizza although I only had one slice. The kids are in bed and I am going to either watch a movie or read some more. I left my other book in the van so it will be the one that is currantly in my bedroom.  I guess that is it for Friday in Marksville. I hope you all had a great day, and a wonderful weekend ahead.
